Patching Security Holes Quickly

Intrepid Net Computing aims to shorten the years-long patch cycle to months.



Cybersecurity grew out of the information technology field and aims to detect hacking. Computer security, which deals with designing secure software and hardware systems, grew out of computer science. Intrepid Net Computing aims to unify these fields. This way, we reduce the time it takes to go from detecting hackers to stopping them.

The design cycle for fixing security vulnerabilities is currently years long. This is because testers discover vulnerabilities. Intrepid Net Computing aims to use artificial-intelligence informed digital forensics to reduce this design cycle from years to months.

To repair vulnerabilities, first they must be detected, then the technical details must be understood (i.e., the lines of code involved), and finally a patch is developed. Traditional design processes use testing to anticipate vulnerabilities and repair them before they are exploited. This leaves many vulnerabilities hidden for years before they are discovered by penetration testers and fixed with a patch.

Intrepid Net Computing stops hackers. We find vulnerabilities that are actively exploited. We then aim to repair them with a months-long design cycle. This shortens the years-long penetration testing cycle to mere months.
